Tips for Succeeding at Making Money Online
There are a lot of people who want to make money online, or from home. They have the desire to do so for one reason or another. However, many try and many fail. This is often due to a series of bad ideas and false hopes. *In order to succeed at making money online, you have to approach it with the right mindset. Money can be made online, but it takes work, lots of work. It is much like starting a small business. At first you put hours into it and see only a few pennies. Then you put hours more into it and see a dollar. You may or may not be excited to see that dollar, but if you really want to work from home a dollar isn't going to cut it. You pour more hours into it. It takes a lot of work before you will see real fruit from your efforts. *There is no get rich quick option, unless you are willing to lie to people. There are many people selling e-books and packages that are suppose to have you making thousands very quickly. It is true that if you in turn sell these packages to other people you can make a lot of money. What is not true, is there is no magic site that will let you replace your full time job with one that has you work one hour a day online and make more then you did working full time. It doesn't work that way and if that is way you want to work from home, you should just keep your job and decide it isn't for you. *You have to work the things that work and abandon the things that don't. Some things work really well for some people. Other find themselves blogging a blog that doesn't work for them and that they hate, or posting on a site to make a few dollars a month for their 60 hours of work. You have to figure out what is worth it or has the potential to be worth it and what doesn't. If it isn't working, try something else. *Before starting a new site that promises you to make lots of money, ask yourself how the website is making money. If you join a site that is charging %5.00 for advertising that they are paying you $10 to look at, where is it they are getting their money from? Often you can find out that they have enough other advertising that they should be bringing in a nice sum, but if they are not you might find yourself expecting money and not getting paid, or showing up and having the site be gone. *Do your research. Find out who says it is good and who says it is bad. If they don't pay, you will probably find it somewhere online. If they have a bad business model, you will probably find it somewhere online. You can find out a lot about a site or a company by doing your research. *Stick with the things you enjoy doing. If you love it, it will be easy to keep up and to do no matter how you feel, what is happening around you, or who says you can't make it happen. *Remember that it takes hard work in order to make it happen. It takes work to make your money grow into something larger. It takes time, effort, blood, sweat, and tears. *My example-
I don't make as much money as I hope to one day make. The goal for me is to make at least $4000 a month online doing things that I love doing. I feel very confident that I will be able to do this over the next couple of years. This is how I am doing so far. I started August 2007 and made nothing. September I made a few cents. October a few dollars. November I made $300. December I made $200 and took a lot of time off for family and the holidays. January I made $505. February $525. It is now March and I am looking at a least $700. In addition to that it looks like I have a very good chance of winning $1200 more. While I am not rich or even making a full time income yet. I am doing well and moving in the right direction. Making money online can be done. But it takes a lot of work and it takes a lot of time. If you are willing to start your own business with all that entails (though with a small start up fee), then you can make it happen as well.

I have worked hard to figure out how to do well making money online. While I still don't make a full time income, I am doing well enough that I feel I have a lot to offer others in this area of expertise.

There are many people who fail in their online business because they expect to earn millions in internet marketing within an unreasonable short period. In reality, this is not going to happen for most people. It's a better approach to start small, and work towards making small profits first like $300 a month. If this works then duplicate your efforts 10 times to earn $3000 per month. A good example using this strategy is the 7-Dollar Secrets business which has shown to be very successful.
